Biography
Sophie Martin has practised osteopathy since 2006 and has supervised the CARPUS teaching clinic since 2014. She treats patients three days a week and supervises students on the other two, which she considers the minimum ratio for anyone teaching clinical work.
She leads the low back pain research group, where most of the data comes from the school’s own clinic. Her interest is narrower than the group’s title suggests: how to record an outcome honestly when the patient wants to be polite about it.
