A school builtaround a clinic,not beside one.
Four practitioners started it because the training they had received kept the patients out until the very end. Everything since has followed from that one complaint.

The intake has been capped at sixty since 2011. Applications have roughly tripled in that time, so the obvious move would have been to take more.
We have not, because the constraint is not the classroom. It is how many students one clinic can supervise properly at four to a practitioner. Growing the cohort would mean diluting that ratio, which is the only thing that makes the course worth its fees.
The school is owned by eleven of its own teachers. There is no group above us asking a different question.

How it got here
2000 to today
- 2000
- Founded above a clinic in the eleventh arrondissement, with nineteen students and six teachers.
- 2007
- The course moves from four years to five, before the reform that made it compulsory.
- 2011
- The intake is capped at sixty and has not moved since. Demand has roughly tripled.
- 2016
- The research groups are formalised and the thesis becomes compulsory for every student.
- 2019
- The building is bought outright, which is why the clinic can charge patients so little.
- Today
- Five years, sixty places, one clinic, fifty-two teachers.
How it is run
- Ownership
- A private company owned by eleven of the teaching staff. No external investor, no group.
- Recognition
- The course leads to the Diplôme d'Ostéopathe (DO), recognised by the French Ministry of Health.
- Student voice
- Two elected students sit on the teaching committee with full voting rights, including on assessment policy.
- Complaints
- Handled by a panel that excludes anyone who teaches or assesses the student concerned.
